The healer who has been there
Gabriela With is a trauma-informed creative practitioner and the founder of Unbound Within — a healing ministry dedicated to accompanying individuals through trauma, shame and abuse. She brings this work not just from training and certifications, but from lived experience.
Having navigated narcissistic abuse, adoption trauma and life in war zones across 15 years of travel and ministry, Gabriela knows what it means to descend into the basement of shame — to believe you are the mistake. And she knows what it means to find a way out.
Her books are the stories of that journey — and the foundation of everything she brings to her clients. Her work is offered as spiritual and pastoral support and creative facilitation, rooted in faith and deep human connection.

WHAT I BELIEVE
The values that guide this work
Real human connection
Healing happens in relationship. The connection is not a technique — it is the foundation.
Into the basement
True healing asks us to go deeper than rock bottom — into the basement of shame where the lost parts are waiting.
Creativity as healing
Art, writing and story are primary languages of the soul — capable of reaching what words alone cannot.
Faith as foundation
Rooted in the belief that God is the ultimate source of healing and that His peace is available in the darkest places.
Healing is a human right
No one should be turned away because of finances, geography or circumstance.
Meeting you where you are
Healing should come to you — not the other way around. This is the heart behind Healing Beyond Borders.

Working with Gabriela has genuinely changed my life. Through our sessions she helped me face fears I had avoided for years, put words to pain I could never fully explain, and begin processing deep-rooted trauma that was affecting my everyday life. Her presence is both compassionate and grounding. I feel more aware, stronger and more connected to myself than I have in years.

When I first began the 'Tree of Life' writing and art exercise, my tree felt completely disconnected—it had just a single, stunted root, and it stood entirely alone. But as I dove into the creative process, something shifted.
The art helped me visually expand my roots and truly feel my own foundation. More importantly, the practice made me realize that I am not alone in this world. It completely transformed my perspective, replacing my deep-seated fears with a profound sense of comfort, peace, and reassurance.
